I love to explore cafe when I go to a new area. I like the ambiance and the cozy environment of cafe as well. It can make us feel lazy and relax while we enjoy our food. Last few week, I plan to explore Bedrock Cafe since I am around Taipan USJ for hair treatment. Since I has plan some time wander around the Taipan Area, it seems like Bedrock Cafe is the only stand alone cafe at that area. It was located on the second floor of one old restaurant.

Interior wise was quite comfy and spacious I would say. Their design is more to minimalist design, black, mint and wooden table.

They have open cashier and coffee making area as well. You will see it when you come up the staircase to Bedrock Cafe.

They even got this Hollywood Backdrop too.

Lights.

In Bedrock Cafe, their signature dish will be their Salted Roast Chicken. You can enjoy their combo set with 2 side dish for only RM19.90.

I like today photos because the setting looks very clean and neat.

I would rate their Salted Roast Chicken 3.5 out of 5. The portion of the chicken looks promising and the outer look of the roast chicken definitely makes me wanted to nom this. But it was rather hard and dry when I start to slice and eat it. The taste was quite okay but still I hope that the taste can be more stronger and favorable since it was suppose to be Salted Roast Chicken.

Where as the side dish was more stand out from the main dish. The Spicy Rice was my favorite, super appetizing and the taste was really yummy. The mashed potato is quite normal but what I like is they use the sesame dressing with the mashed potato. At first I was curious about the dressing they use for the mashed potatoes, turns out it was sesame dressing which usually they use in for salad dressing. I never knew that sesame dressing is such a good combination with mashed potatoes too!

Signature Salted Roast Chicken.

Primavera with Salted Roast Chicken RM 17

Definition of it is creamed base paste using Parmesan Cheese, cherry tomatoes to lighten up the dish, and chili for a slight twist in flavor.

To my surprise I love this dish most! The sauce is rich with parmesan cheese and cherry tomatoes, not too heavy or too light. But it give the perfect aroma as a spaghetti sauce. I miss it now again. Where as the Salted roast chicken here is cooked well and my boyfriend say it was quite juicy and not as dry as my serving.

Favorite Spaghetti and Watermelon juice for a cooling afternoon drink.

My Mocha. Feel so sad with the latte art that are ruining it shape. LOL

My Lunch.

Overall was a really good experience for me and I heard they serve great desserts as well! Perhaps I will be dropping by here again for their desserts next time.

  22. Nice place. Relaxing ambience. As for the food, I think the portion is quite small for that price, no? I am looking at the rice and spaghetti and they are too little.
