Finally, I have the mood to start blogging about my Singapore trip on May 2022 ๐Ÿ‘€ This is a working trip after the pandemic, and the company decided to arrange this workshop in Singapore for everyone to bond again. This 5 days 4 nights trip is really a fun trip except for the fact that I got Covid + on day 3 but luckily does not spread across the team or people I met throughout the trip ๐Ÿ˜œ

So on day 5 itself, when I felt much better after keep taking panadol and resting at night, I decided to visit Capita Spring 51 which is the new spot open in Singapore. Since I have been sick for the last few days, I have wanted to go sightseeing around Singapore and not keep bedridden the whole day because of sickness. On Friday morning, I decided to do some sightseeing before we fly back to KL.

Capita Spring is actually an office building, but they open some of their top floors for sightseeing and from their rooftop, you can also see Marina Bay Sands Singapore from afar. Although I wish to bring my colleague along, since she is still busy meeting till the last day of the trip, I can only come here by myself and take all the photos with a tripod.

After this journey of going there alone and taking photos with a tripod, I feel that taking photos alone is really quite tiring. You set up the tripod and you set up the box grid and angle you want to take, then open the timer and run back and forth to get the correct angle, pose, and photo ๐Ÿ˜ฐ I think for the photos above, I think I have lost count on how many times I run back forth and climb up the stairs.

The further photo angle that you want to take, you need to run back and forth even further. Now come to think of it, when I watch all those self-shot KOL from douyin, the photo's outcomes usually are close and focused shots.

I also feel that I am lucky with such perfect weather that day with blue skies and clouds. Since it's on the rooftop right, it wouldn't be nice if you only have cloudy gloomy skies. For self-shot right, you have to be also thick face and don't scare of what other people will think of you when you put on a tripod and shoot photos. I guess I will be happier to be alone doing all this when I didn't know anyone, but if you invite me to a workshop with all 30 people that I don't know all of them, I probably can't stand it ๐Ÿ™ˆ

It's been a while since I'm alone doing all these, I notice I talked through it without explaining on my outfit. I wore this set of outfits before, so I don't really feel like want to update here again on my blog but I will do a rough explanation of the outfit later.

I like this photo angle because I like all the flowers that they plant along the rooftop, and I always like to take photos of beautiful plants and scenery.

As I walked around the rooftop also where I try to locate Marina Bay Sand Singapore and here I am selfie with the building. Since my tripod is not tall enough for a top-angle shot, so I just take one selfie with the building as my background. It is also quite funny that I forget that in Singapore is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask, and I forget to take off my mask when I take this selfie ๐Ÿ˜“

I definitely want to take some nice far shots when I am at Capita Spring 51, but since I'm alone is quite hard to do it. But well this is what the part of the rooftop looks like, when I'm here that day I notice there's some shooting ongoing too.

There's also a cafe on the rooftop where you can take a nice photo with the Marina Bay Sands Singapore, but the corner is closed and I am not sure why I didn't think of going in, but also because I also scared later I will chase out by the guard. Although on and off you will see some guards walking around, they don't really stop you from taking photos.

I also like this part of the rooftop where you can see the shape of their outer part looks like. I couldn't recall this outfit do I buy it as a set or outer and dress it separately. But I like how it is worn as a set, but since the outer is quite loose and big, I prefer it to be tied up to create a waistline. I decided to wear this outfit one last time here and will plan to give it out.

That's it for my short journey here at Capita Spring 51. I rush back to work for lunch after visiting this place for almost 1 hour and 30 minutes. Hope you like this short post of mine!

This is what the CapitaSpring building looks like from the outside.

This is the only lift that can access the area that is open for guests. They are also an office building but that area is not allowed to access by outsiders.

These are all the floors that you can access. So I slowly start from the 17th floor and move up to the 51st floor which is the rooftop area.

Here are all the details of the info of each floor and their opening time.

NEW Opening Hour

Some of the other building views from the Capita Spring building that you can see.

I really like the circular shape design of all the different floors.
