Black Modern Long Cheongsam at Bamboo Hill KL

Last week, I slowed down on updating my blog due to my menstrual cycle. Instead, I spent more time resting and reading webtoons online. However, I remained active on my Instagram, XHS, and Facebook accounts. Feel free to follow me on @snowmansharing. This is a short blog about my outfit of the day. I decided to write about it because I wanted to record this memory. After all, this black modern long cheongsam is not something I usually wear.

I got this Black Modern Long Cheongsam from preloved where someone sold it on social media. I didn't overthink at that time but then in my mind, I always wanted to try black cheongsam, and this fit somehow suited what I had in mind. With just RM50 only I guess I don't have much to complain about!

Close-up of the cheongsam, the button top is really nice! It is designed with mismatched buttons and it is not the normal cheongsam button but mixed with a metal pointed one. I like this cheongsam, which is out of the out-of-the-ordinary cheongsam design that I rarely try.

But this cheongsam is way too long for me, to avoid that it makes me look short and bulk I try to hold one side of the dress to show a bit of my leg skin. 

Anyway, this year I'm back to Bamboo Hill again to shoot this Cheongsam look. My first choice of outfit to wear here with my friend is actually a red top that I bought to wear during Chinese New Year (I haven't worn it out until now). But then I remembered I have so many Cheongsam this year, and this black Cheongsam came to my mind and I decided to wear this to Bamboo Hill.

My accessories complete the look. This black fan I have had this since last year Chinese New Year and it just matches with this black Cheongsam perfectly! I have this really big black ribbon hair claw as well, just nice that I can just wear it to style my hair. I generally think that while wearing Cheongsam, it is best to have your hair clipped up.

I wore these super high platform boots that I wore to the Twice concert last year. I didn't think that I would wear it again, and just nice that it matched this Cheongsam. It just elongates my look and gives a modern twist to this modern Cheongsam as well.

That's all for my short post update on this really nice Black Modern Long Cheongsam, still thinking if I should keep this Cheongsam because not sure if I'm gonna wear it again. Anyway, it is still in my wardrobe, I think I will keep it for some time because I really like the design and the cutting that suits my body nicely.
