Back to my monthly post about Face of the Month, I just realize I miss out August one. So here's my Face of the Month the Not so Gothic Look. Recently got really into a lot of makeup hype and shoot a lot of makeup pictorial in my camera. This look is taken before I change my hair color, red purplish hair with my not so gothic look. The overall look is pretty much black and red tone, hope you guys like my look for the month of August. Also, my last makeup look for my red purplish hair too!

I am using this W Lab Pocket Eyeshadow palette that I get from The Butterfly Project Birthday Party. You can read more on here. This palette is the Blooming palette, it not only comes in coral shades but also brownish shades too.

First apply color Sun Flower, a matte brownish color to apply all over the lid. Next use Pansy, a shimmery brown color apply on the crease of your eye.

The final outcome of the colors on my eyes, I didn't apply a very dramatic eyeshadow on my eyelid. Because I want the main focus to be on my under eye liner and lips.

Here I am using a pen liner from IN2IT, which is recommended by my colleague. She loves using this to draw her under eye liner. Simply because it was so easy and convenient to use this pen liner!

I told her that my eyes are very sensitive when comes to drawing under eye or even the top tight line too. I easily got teary eyes and it just makes the process even harder to draw. After buying this and try it on my eyes, I was amazed by it super opac and smooth application on my eyes. I did not have teary eyes or even blink my eyes while drawing it on under eyes. With just one easy stroke, you can easily achieve the black under eye look with this pen liner!

This Not so Gothic look, I put more emphasized on my lips and the under eye black liner. For my lips, I decided to use my recent purchase from instagram.com/spoiltforchoice.cosmectics. It was from Emcosmetics (Michelle Phan Makeup Line) infinite lip cloud, I got the color Spanish Earth which is the earthy brown tone.

Since my lips are in red pinkish tone, the color turns out to be not brown instead it was more to red brownish color on my lips. Sorry for the uneven color on my lips, never really good at applying such dark color on my lips. It's best to use lip brush or lip liner for more defined lips look.

Somehow I do not get used to my look with the black liner under eye look on me! Even when without a smile, I look weird too! I guess I do not have the kind of pretty features on my face. Can't carry all kind of look that I like.

Some of the showing teeth look.

Even though I prefer the shots with my teeth on, but the one without showing off my teeth look looks way much cooler and wilder. It's much more suitable with the makeup look I create. I just try my best to find the angle that looks the best and pretty on me.

Overall I was quite fond of the look I created. I guess it won't be my daily look for sure. I can't accept my look with under eye liner though. But I would love to try it on a brown color liner so that the look looks softer than this look.

Tell me what you think about this look? Is it a Yay or Nay for me?
