Hola people, finally I have compiled the outfits I wear during Chinese New Year. I added 1 outfit that I wore before the week of Chinese New Year. I really like that outfit a lot so I plan to post about it too. As you all know Chinese New Year is all about Red (ANG ANG) meaning the festive and happy color. We will be wearing red to show respect too as the elders would prefer to see RED and BRIGHT color too.

I know that not many people are fan of RED and so do I. But this year I'm so hype up with Red during this Chinese New Year then I do wear Red for almost everyday until Day 5 of CNY. I'm not always a Red kind of girl too, only during festive season. In this post I will share with you guys tips to start wearing RED during any festive season. We shall start from the super light cool tone of Nude Pink to the Chili RED cheongsam.

NO RED

Make up of the Day.

Let's start of some cooler tone outfit, beside with Super Chili Red outfit you can go for super light color tone. That will be PINK! The outfit color I wear is more to nude pink color which it was same color as nude.

Since I'm wearing outfit near to Nude so I pair it with my nude gladiator sandal.

It was a set outfit that I quite fancy with. Since the top and bottom can wear separate with other any top or bottom as well. If you are not a fancy pastel color lover, try go for cooler tone of pastel, such as dove grey, nude pink, or even grey blue. I love how they matchy the color with white too, the color pattern on the outfit has caught my attention too.

This is a high waist pant design without zip, which I was quite happy about it. Which meaning it was quite comfy and the crop top was quite sexy to wear so I have wear a lace tube inside as well. The behind top details comes in super cute ribbon as well. This outfit is totally a mix of cute and sexy style.

My new Shoulder Bag. Luckily I still manage to get one new shoulder bag before CNY. Btw I only got it on the week before CNY, lol. Super indecisive on the color with Grey or Black. Since I have many black sling bag, but my boyfriend advice me to go for grey, haha! I love the sophisticate and simple design of the bag. The chain design in front caught my attention too.

30 PERCENT RED

Make Up of the Day

Next, let's go for a 30% of red color in your outfit. You can always try with red bag, red shoes, or even red accessories to spice up your outfit with a festive color. In this second outfit I wear my maroon red color spaghetti top and with my white top and blue jeans skirt. If you are not into Super RED or CHILI RED color, go for Maroon or Wine Red color.

Bottom match with Front Button Denim Skirt and my Flats.

If you have been reading my previous outfit post, I have mention that I got another color of the cute spaghetti top in red color as well. I plan to wear during CNY as well and guess what this kind of top doesn't just looks good with T Shirt but also in Casual White Shirt. Which I saw it in one of my recent favorite K drama. Shall try it one day too!

50 PERCENT RED

After you have get use to with some red item, try go for Red Top or Red Bottom. This time I go for Red Midi Skirt. I got this skirt for quite some time already. It was wool material which I find it was a thick and warm material. Usually suitable wear only to aircond indoor places.

I love the pocket design of the skirt also. Off Shoulder is always my top favorite too. This I have daigou from Taiwan and I even bought 2 color of this top too.

Since I have wear quite strong color contrast for my top and bottom. I go for nude color heels instead.

Not forget I'm wearing one of my favorite choker too. Inspired from the drama She Was Pretty.

90 PERCENT RED

Make Up of the Day. During the days I back to Melacca, I rarely using any eye shadow as I wanted to keep my make up simple and neat.

The only not red item that I wear on the first day of CNY is my new shoulder bag. I just need a bag which can compliment my whole red lace cheongsam that I wear.

My Red Ballet Flats is out for my Chinese New Year look.

I love the chinese collar design in the middle of the dress. Although long sleeve might be a little hot but since the material comes in lace so it was fine for me. It has 2 layer lining as well from the bra area to the bottom.

My Overall Red Lace Cheongsam. For this year CNY I bought 2 cheongsam outfit, 1 comes in purple color and another this comes in red color. Both brings out different style of me! This cheongsam comes in CHILI RED color which makes my skin looks fairer as well.
